YOGA BEAR Posture Cards
Yoga Bear posture Cards to play with your children, learn yoga, build emotional intelligence, connect and grow all at the same time.
Each card has the posture on one side, with instructions on the other side. You can play games with your children such as 'pick a card' and everyone does that card.
You can swap teaching roles to help children build confidence and expression.
You can close your eyes, and ask the deck 'what do I need right now?' To help grow self-reliance and intuition.
You can also do a spread and build a yoga class this way.
Children can choose their favourite posture and place it in the spread for their yoga class. You can place a card on each persons mat and in the 'free choice' section of the class they can do their own posture.
You can also use the cards to help children learn introspection. By asking children how they feel, and what would help them express their feelings or resolve their feelings, they can find the right card for helping them process feelings. For example; when they need to feel loved; Child's pose. When they need support; partner poses. When they need to stand strong; warrior poses.
